I am a psychologist/psychoanalyst with over 35 years of experience. These include directing a counseling service at NYU and, as an adjunct professor, teaching and supervising doctoral students in their clinical work; directing the staff; continuing education at a pastoral counseling clinic; and a private practice focusing primarily on adult individual and couples therapy. My aim in meeting with you is mutually to create a supportive personal relationship in which you feel safe and open enough to do the challenging work of self-exploration and understanding. I describe myself as a generalist who is comfortable working with a wide range of life-span developmental concerns and who will work with you to tailor individual means to resolve conflicts and achieve growth and personal meaning.
