Dr. Catherine Baker-Pitts is an author, public speaker, and psychotherapist practicing in the Upper East Side in New York City. Her current clinical work, writing, and research focus on the intersection of gender, media, technology, and the body. Her work is informed by feminist, relational, trauma, attachment, cultural, and object relations theories. In addition to her general psychotherapy practice, she consults with people who are either contemplating a surgical intervention or renegotiating their identity embodiment, and relationships post-surgery.
